Experience

Alfons Femenia has been a patent consultant since 1991. In 2012 he joined H&A.

Alfons is an expert I patents, utility models and design

He has a vast experience in writing and prosecuting patents and utility models, reports on infringement validity and Freedom-to-Operate, as well as prior art searches in international databases and drafting oppositions.

He also attends oral proceedings in examinations, oppositions and appeals before the European Patent Office.

In addition, he has been an expert witness for patents, utility models and industrial designs before the courts, and is a member of the European Patent Institute (EPI).

Teaching

Since 2011: Tutor in the Course on Patent Law in Barcelona organized by CEIPI (University of Strasbourg) in Barcelona.

Since 2014: Collaborator teacher in the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC), postgraduate course of Protection of the innovation and Technology Transfer.
