Experience

Estefanía Cruz´s practice is mainly focused on the drafting and prosecution of patent applications before the different national and regional Patent Offices in the area of chemistry and pharmacology. She is also experienced in prior art related searches in patent databases and the scientific literature and in preparing patentability and in infringement opinions.

Since 2000 she worked for different IP firms in Madrid, as a patent adviser. From 2008 to 2009 she worked with a biotechnology corporation, where she was in charge of the company’s intellectual property portfolio.

Estefanía joined H&A in 2012 and is, as a patent consultant, a member of the Chemistry/Biotechnology team in our patent department.

Estefanía Cruz has lectured on Industrial Property in the Biotechnology master’s program offered by Aliter Business School.
