HERRERO & ASOCIADOS was established as a professional partnership in 1982.
Our firm looks back on 30 years of successful history and growth and is now one of Spain’s leading IP firms, providing “full IP services” as well as services in other related fields such as Copyright, Unfair Competition, Data Protection, IT and New Media Law.
H&A was founded and started to operate as a pure Spanish law firm, gradually opening offices in the 10 largest cities of Spain.
After consolidating its leadership in the domestic market, H&A vowed to become an international IP player and set about opening branch offices in other countries. Given the cultural and linguistic ties to Portugal and Latin America, offices were established abroad in Portugal, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina.
Today, H&A has earned worldwide recognition in its sector through many international awards and directory listings. We look forward to expanding further.
Extending our range of services and the territories we serve has not altered our commitment to provide clients with tailored solutions. We believe that only by providing personalised services adapted to the needs and preferences of each and every client will we comply with the highest professional standards.
At H&A, high professionalism blends with a very friendly approach. We combine the strength and manpower of a large-scale law firm with personal consulting:
One contact person for every client. Every client deals with a specific person on whom that client relies and who may be contacted at any time. That person shall be the client's interlocutor and shall have full information on that client.
A professional for every service. At H&A very distinct services are rendered which involve various technical areas. That is why the same professional cannot and should not prepare a patent specification, prosecute a trade mark, draw up an agreement or be involved in a trade mark or patent infringement or unfair competition action, consult in advertising disputes before the Advertising Standards Association and register a domain or issue a report concerning compliance with Data Protection laws. We are convinced that area-related specialisation provides for more valuable services
