Despite the latest news regarding the paperless Office conversion of Argentinian INPI and some formalities advantages such us the no need of filing the priority document unless the examiner explicitly requests it;  the National Patent administration has published an Official notice (Circular 4) contravening the national patent law. We are happy to announce that according to Resolution 250/2018 published on September 28, 2018, the Argentinian INPI is adapting all its procedures in becoming paperless and introducing the electronic filing system.

Next October 23rd , the SPTMO is organizing a session regarding Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) before the European Patent Office. Different aspects of national/regional phases will be also discussed. It is a on-day session from 9.00 to 16.00

We are pleased to announce that the Brazilian PTO’s IT system has been successfully restored, after being suspended from August 23 until August 31. According to INPI Resolution 225/2018, the period available for all those affected by the system failure has been extended until September 14, 2018.
